I am a sucker for anything that involves dance that’s why ever since they started showing America’s Best Dance Crew, I’ve been an avid viewer; and being in a “far-flung” province has not stopped me. The’ve always aired shows way beyond schedule and thank god MTV was there to satisfy my ABDC obsession.

2008, on the second season of ABDC, I missed the pilot episode, auditions etc so I fast tracked to their second episode where I saw SoReal Cru’s piece. I was blown away by their intro on Love in this club by Usher and I was amazed on how these 2 girls, @ailynisidro @jackielautchang moved like the guys yet maintained their girly-girl image. And there, where I first noticed @BrianPuspos. :)

And that started it all… After this, I never took my eyes off them. I think I became their stalker. hahahaha. So this obsession went on and on.. Not just for the whole season nor a couple of months but YEARS! It took years believe! If only I was in the US, I would have been there every show, workshop etc that they were in; or have all of their merchandise BUT.. I’m here in the small yet beautiful city so I SWORE to myself that in one way or another, I WILL MEET THESE PEOPLE.

I downloaded all their videos from their channel, and automatically, Brian became my favorite. He became my #1 Crush of all time. I remember when we were still reviewing for the boards, @bria121610 and I had Brian’s picture printed and wrote special dedications at the back like “Good luck!” or “Review well” or “Top the board” just to keep us motivated. And when we’re already sleepy from too much reading, we just watch his videos and we’re energized again! Ang sexy lang niya. Pak!

2008. 2009. 2010.2011. All these years that I’ve been his biggest fan, I never thought that one day, just one day, I would get to meet him.

2011, I heard this news on twitter that he’ll be having a workshop here in the Philippines. OMFG! I cannot miss this. I KENAT! lol. So as early as 4 months before the workshop, I already inquired. I was overly excited! And the bonus? When I posted it as my status that he was coming, he liked it! Waaaaaaaaaah! He actually liked it! Describe Happy and excited? ME! Ako naaaa!

MAYGAWD. I literally died when he liked my status, how much more when Ifinally see him? Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

So, a month before November, their workshop, I already asked for my leave. Good thing Sister approved it. So the stars are finally aligned. I am going to meet him! BUT WAIT. No one in my fam knows yet that I’m leaving for the weekend. Bummer.

The night before my trip, that was the only time I told them about it. And… *drumroll*.. they agreed! But my Mom has to go with me because they were saying that this workshop might just be a scam. WTH whether they approve or not I am still gonna go! Si Brian Puspos na ito te! Ibang usapan na!

The trip to Manila is usually 10-12 hours. I slept the whole trip so I would be energized for the workshop. Upon arriving at the house, I slept until 11 am then prepared and later realized that I forgot my contacts. Efff! I would look like an old maid with my glasses on, how would he even notice me! Charot! Hahahah! The workshop was 4pm, but since we weren’t familiar with the place, we left the house 12 pm. Oh di ba? 4 hours early, American time + plus I had to find and buy a new set of contacts. Unfortunately, we kinda got lost and we found the place at around 2:30 already. Not wanting to be late at the event, I just let go of hunting new contacts, quickly ate lunch and arrived at the venue.

Also with too much excitement, not only did I forgot my contacts, I also forgot to charge my phone and bring a charger. WTF. All I had was my SLR and good luck if my mom would even know how to manipulate it. Huhuhu! Wala na kaming matinong kuha ni Baby Puspos! :(

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! Define Ecstatic this time! But wait, there’s more! Pati si mother join! Kunwari di naman niya knows pero nagpapapicture naman!

I love how down to earth Brian is! He mingles and dances with us. Such a humble young man.

And when it came to his piece, WOW. I witnessed how passionate he is as a dancer. He had a reason for every move, transformed the feeling into movement, and really felt every beat of the music. I just wanted to watch and listen to him the whole night because I never met anyone who is literally so much in love with the craft he chosen that makes him come up with wonderful choreography. I was just so inspired and I’m glad that I am admiring the right person, that the person I followed throughout the years turned out to be just what I expected, actually, he exceeded my expectations. This day was just UGH. I wish it never ends.

Not only did I meed my IDOL, I also met few equally amazing people who I believe will be the next dancing stars here! :)

So, since majority of my friends are still here in the land of the HOT people, TUGUEGARAO, we decided to meet and catch up with each other plus chat with @MeAntonette. We were supposed to meet up at 4, but since we are proud to be Filipino, we were just complete after an hour or so.

Umpisa palang, bad news na. @anneutleg lost her itouch, and the others, thinking na iphone yung nawala, kept texting her number saying “nagmamakaawa kami pakibalik yung phone, andito kami sa Nancy’s ngayon blah blah blah”. So anong point ko? Eh funny nga kasi all the time she was receiving their texts na nagsusumamo pero buhay na buhay ang diwa ng phone nya, yung itouch lang ang lost ang peg! Okay? Ngets? Next story.

So, being mahina ang decision making skills namin, we weren’t able to decide where to eat.

So, I think it took us about 30 minutes to think about it until we asked Manong Kutchero kung ano suggestion niya where to eat..

So, on the way, we just decided to go to citimall since most of the restos are there and dun nalang kmi magdedecide where.

So while we were there, we just chose Greenwich cause I think the last time we ate there was when we were still in college; and we prefer eating pasta and pizza that time.

So about the title, etong tao sa taas ang may pakana. I can’t remember kung ano ba yung usapan eh, basta bigla kasi siyang bumanat ng malakas ng “WHAT IS FRIENDS????” na ang ibig sabhin nya sana eh what are friends for pero shinorcut niya nalang kasi life is short! hahahaha

So after eating, eto na guyz. Such a fun experience. We rode Puff’s car (technically, sa kuya niya pero nagmarunong kami so ginamit muna namin). It was really a CUTE car, tipong pang everyday car mo pag pasok ka sa duty ganon. BUT.. it was MEAN! May attitude the car, kung ano yun, eh dko na ikekwento dito, baka kasi di na ako makasakay ulit dun. Basta, best in sigawan kami sa loob at summer na summer ang peg! yun na!

Since gabi na, ihahatid namin si Frankie sa Bayo, Iguig. And being the cheapangga people that we are, pahirapan nanaman mag ambag ng pang-gas. So si Jana, na driver namin that time na secretly nahihirapan nadin (chos!) offered to get their ride nalang sa house nila for more comfort levels! Haha.

Multi-tasking na kami at gabi na! Hatian na sa pagdadrive. Geez. Hirap ng maraming ride! Charaught!

Since tipida jones kami sa gas, and para di out of the way, we went to Anne’s place to comfort her from her lost. And we were so arte, slang kami magtawag! As in letter N ang pronunciation! Check out the video here!

Sakto, wifi! So we had a short talk with Tonet while eating chocolates! Feeling namin padala niya. (Aheeeeem, nagpaparinig ako, sana may magpadala ng chocolates! hehehe)

Since it’s getting late, and Frankie’s lungga is so far, we just had to cut the conversation with Tonet and head to Bayo. When we got there, being the patay gutom that we are, nagparinig kami na bet namin lumafang kahit meryenda lang. haha. Tinupad naman ni Tito!

San ka naman nakakita ng basketball court na nakatiles! Oh di ba CLAZZ! Kaso.. walang pic, serry. Ito nalang.

So while chillin’.. we met Lupita! Haha. The becky who sounds like one of Doraemon’s cast na may tumutukang adam’s apple! Hahahahahaha. Eh di ko na siya nakuhanan ng pic pero super okray na nung pauwi. Mean girls ang peg!

So since late na, at poor parin ang decision making skills, medyo di kami makapagdecide kung tutuloy pa kami sa viewdeck. I don’t know if they’ll like it there also pero ayun game naman ang mga bakla so tumuloy parin kami. Medyo scary ang way with the talahib and all but I just love it there, overlooking Tuguegarao and the stars + the thrill na baka may mang kidnap/holdap sayo sa sobrang liblib. Hehe. Eh blag ko nga to! Yun ang nararamdaman ko. haha. So ngpicture lang kami saglit, pero fail kasi di nakita ang view, so parang defeated ang purpose. Nagmamadali kasi sila! choz!

Lakas lang mka-walking dead meets vampire diaries ang peg ng viewdeck kaya gumora na kami agad.

Since gavu na at AM shift pa si Matt, we had to bring him home first and guess who came back from the dead! hahaha. Basta, siya nga yan!

I believe we will have some catch up time with Bugi soon. Saglitan lang itey eh. Den, pack up na! We went at Naj’s home to pick up Puff’s car then end of our night! It was fun! Sad to be missing @MeAntonette @bria121610 @missnina014 and Demeye but there will always be next time. Till our next adventure!

Habang busy ako sa nagsusulat, biglang may lalaking sumisilip sa door. Since fail ang eyes ko, at punong puno ng ka-blurryhan lang ang nasasight ko, diko naman pinapansin yung guy na yun. Pero andun parin siya, parang kumakaway! So I squinted my eyes (naks, squint talaga!) kasi for some reason, medyo nagcclear yung vision pag ganun pero wit nag epek, blurred parin talaga. So lumapit nalang ako, opened the door and boom! Si Richmund Liban lang pala yun! hahaha.

Richmund is a highschool barkada, and of all time and places, sa ospital ko pa siya makikita kasi nakaconfine yung baby niya. He’s just here for a vaycay. He is currently based at Saudi, works for an oil company (bonggels! kaya pala amoy gas xa! chos!) 

He invited us for dinner since aalis narin xa back to Manila the next day, at INUTUSAN niya pa akong magtawag ng iba. hahaha. Boss kita at utusan mo? Charaught! Ayun, so sabi niya sabihan ko daw yung iba. Nagkaproblema tuloy ako! Wala sakin contact numbers ng mga HS friends since nasira yung phone ko! Kung ako lang, yung mga becky friends ko nalang sana tatawagin ko! Pero baka naman later, magtaka siya, sino yang mga yan? Ang awkward maya nung dinner. Ang nilibre niya puro di niya kilala. :D

So I found a way to contact them. Wag nyo na itanong kung pano. Yung iba, andaling kausapin. Unang-unang tanong, SINO MAGBABAYAD? hahaha. Best in barat talaga mga HS friends ko. Lahat yun ang tanong, kung kaninong libre. Duh! Mageeffort pa ba akong magtawag kung KKB rin lang? 

IIlan lang nagconfirm, kasi mostly wala na dito sa Tugue.

Pagdating ko sa Roma, nawindang ako! Kaya minsan ayoko yung most punctual eh. Ang mga kasama ko, si JB and his wife and junak + Richmund and his wife! Ano ako dito yaya? hahaha. Sabi ko nalang… “eh mga FAAAAHMILY MAN pala kasama ko dito eh!” Nakakatuwa lang isipin na before, tong mga lalaking to yung mga walang kaseryo-seryoso sa mga babae. Now, may family na sila. WOW AH! CHANGED PERSON!
