I was working non-stop. Regular shifts plus picking up extra shifts; Stressful workload; Demanding patients and family; Understaffed; Lazy staff; I just had a lot going on in my plate and on that one certain day where I was supposed to just sleep it off and be lazy, I needed a breather.

I hopped on the 1000h train to Central London, hoping to find my refuge there. I was hoping this would work cause for the past months that I’ve been going through something big, going there and walking along the busy streets somehow distracted, and nonetheless healed my distorted thoughts.

I thought to myself, why don’t I take my camera and maybe rekindle my hobby in photography.

I was crying in the train. Good thing the seat beside me was empty or else whoever’s sittng beside me would think I was crazy. It was a solid spot though, having a moment in a running train by the window. I got down at Fenchurch Street, decided to hover at Tower Bridge and watch the tourists take pictures/selfies It was a busy day, just as I pictured it. It was perfect. I also found my own little nook in here I guess it’s safe to say that times like these made me feel more human, and normal, and more importantly, it reminded me to slow down and give myself time to get out of the auto pilot mode and feel, breathe.

While having a moment, I also made a list of places I could visit. It feels weird because the more I keep myself busy with new sights and scenes, the more I could think and let go.

And then guess what, I didn’t move at all despite the long list. In my deep thinking, I realized I wanted the bed more than moving. So, I just went home. What a total waste.

In the end, I discovered the real reason why I was such a weirdo. PMS.

Intrigued by the amazingly beautiful poetry posts I always see with “RMD or RMDrake” insigna, I just had to search who this writer is, which I eventually found on instagram, Mr. Robert M. Drake.

It’s nice to grace my every day reading his takes about life, love, heartbreak, failure and of course, I became an instant fan.

And as a fan, I’m so happy to finally get my hands on his latest project!

I literally just received the book which I bought at Amazon for about 13 quid (shipping included) and as much as I want to finish reading it all in one go, I had to stop myself and save some more sighs and awwwws for the next days to come. I do intend to read one piece a day and try to savour every line, internalize and maybe have a good cry after each.

He has 3 other books (which I plan to get soon) unless, someone wants to give it as a gift, I’ll gladly accept it. ;)

Younique 3D Fiber Lash

From my 12hour night shift, nagborlog ako ng half 10 at half 2 kalowka gising na ang lola nyo! (Kunwai naloka ako pero in real life, normal ko na yun. Me masabe lang, charaught! hahaha) So, habang nakahilata at nagiisip kung itutulog ko pa ba ulit to, biglang sinaniban ako ng kaartehan at sabe mag mook up daw ako. So I figured, why don’t I make a make up video (hahaha ambisyosa!) showing one of my latest purchases. Nagmamaganda lang te, sorry naman.

I’m not really a makeup person. You won’t expect it to be a part of my daily routine, although lately, medyo natututo nako maglip chook cause I remember my Mama’s alwaysnagging me na magpakadalaga/ magpakababae naman daw ako at mglagay ng konting color sa mukha ko. So, I’ve been trying my best na sundin si Mudak sa paraan ng paglilipstick although di ako consistent. So asan na nga ba ako, ayun, make up.

I just saw this on youtube actually. As I said, di ako masyado sa mook up, so pag sinabing kelangan nga talaga, I usually opt for a loud shade of lipstick and mascara and I thought this will do the job kase my lashes needs lots of encouragement bago siya humaba. Pinepep talk ko pa talaga siya para makisama. If I wear falsies naman, mukha na akong bakla tapos bakla pako magsalitaso super tranelya na ang lola nyo later in life. Bet ko rin dito is the hard shell case, wherein keri nang maging mini-makeup kit pag may ganap, at least handy.

It comes with 2: the Transplanting gel (1) which will be your base and ang pinakapandikit ni number 2 which are the fibers.

I also took a video. Shet super amateur. hahahaha! Pagpasensyahan nyo na at bagong gising lang. Next time maghahanda na ang lola nyo. At ang background music, randomly selected lang sa video editor ng youtube! hahahaha promise next time ayusin ko na. (as if mauulit pa). Also, napagtanto ko sa video na ito na di ko talaga forte ang beauty churna. Wala akong beaty, puro double chin!

I think the price range is 10-25 pounds depende sayo kung magaling kang maghanap. I bought mine at amazon for 11 pounds dahil overflowing sa stock yung seller.
