Second stop: Cotswold, Arlington Row, Bibury

From the pagoda tragedy Harry Potter adventure, we still had time and sunlight so instead of the original plan to go there tomorrow, pinush na on the same day teh! The drive from Watford to Bibury was roughly around 2hours. In between the journey we had to stop to take a power nap and eat our baong Adobo.

We got there at about 5pm and it was just perfect! Sakto ang tirik ng araw!

Cotswold is dubbed as the best village in England and I must say- SUPER MEGA AGREE!! Super posh and I felt like I was a Madame while walking around. Lakas maka hacienda ng feels. Plus, the people are really nice and warm and naturally friendly, super give way sila samin since nakatimer lang ang mga picture taking. Sila talaga ang nag-aadjust.
I’m just not sure if they rent out the cottages though, or if anyone is residing there pero you could see from the windows na fully furnished ang interiors niya. I also enjoyed the fact that there is no cell reception in the area so mas todo ang bonding kasi walang internet na istorbo. You can also enjoy your tea time with the amigas since feel na feel mo talagang shala ka.

Since ang ganda ng background, we also took this opportunity to film our #fettywapchallenge. Hahahaha. Mga kachorvahang trip ko lang, pero thank god game si papa Gelo. One local who witnessed our ganap and said she’s gonna search for us in youtube daw. Pak! Gow ate!

After the video shoot (Naks!) we just had to absorb the beautiful scenery. I could honestly see myself retiring here someday, basta afford ko ha!

As far as I know, there’s one hotel which is in the actual area which is The Swan. It is apparently a 4-star hotel so kayo na bahala magsearch sa presyo. I didn’t bother checking it na since medyo purita ang budget namen so we just rented a B&B near the area.

A few good hours there and we decided to call it a dat. Sakto, pa-sunset narin.

Next stop: Bath!

3 AM

Amazing news: I’ve caught this year’s strain of flu and it’s too strong I’ve been huffing and puffing for 2 (or actually 3?) straight days now.

So, 3am thoughts?

I’ve been annoyed lately with an old friend who I can confirm loves to stir some conflict between people and make it appear like he’s a moderator, or someone you can talk and listen to. I don’t even want to know where he’s going with this but please. Just. Stop. I don’t get why you want to meddle with issues that a. you’re not even a part of and b. is done. Just of focus on your own life and issues and stop involving ours in yours. Thank you. Ü

I never fully understood how crazy wedding planning is until now. There’s too many things to plan and to choose from I can’t even decide on a theme/motif cause there’s too much fancy things on Pinterest! Haha. I’ve pinned and pinned pegs and pretty things which doesn’t help at all cause I keep changing my mind whenever I see something else. I’ve also printed out these wedding checklists which in a way diverted my focus in a certain direction so my whatthefuckamidoing thoughts are slowly dissolving. So far, we have booked a date (shet, wala nang atrasan to!), slowly building up our pre-nup album (most pictures are from different travels) and booked a church + venue. Next step (I think) should be finalising our wedding suppliers (we have already pre-decided), finalise guest list then invites! Whoo! I didn’t really realise we’ve done this much till now.

We asked for a week leave since we originally planned to go to Spain (Ibiza sana) but, due to unforseeable ganaps, wit na siya na-i-push. So, instead of putting those days into waste, mega plan nalang ng roadtrip around England! Perfect timing nga kase we just got our Baby Kadjot a couple of months ago so perfect na mabinyagan siya sa long drive. We also devised a very specific tipid meal plan for the whole trip which consisted of adobo (day 1) adobo (day 2), and more adobo (day 3) for more chances of winning!

So, the route was, Warner Bros. Studios – overnight @ Cheltenham – Cotswolds the next half day – Bath (overnight) – Stonehenge – Home! I will make chika the rest of the places we went to but for now, let’s start with everyone’s favorite – H E R R Y P A H T A H R!

The tickets mga ateh, costs £35 each for adults (kung kuripot ka, medyo mahalia fuentes siya) and take note, you should book it in advance cause super benta siya to everyone and usually, they have a quota so everyone can enjoy the studio na walang natetegi sa stampede. Charot.

Actually since we first got here sa UK, matagal ko nang plan to go here, but everytime na I try check their site, fully booked na yung dates na bet ko. So yes, inabot ng two years and 8 months bago ko talaga siya na-avail ng bonggang bongga! Sulit naman ang wait mga teh. Super enjoy! Ang lakas maka fresh yung ganitong aura! Felt like a child again (naks!). It’s also amazing na di lang siya for kiddos. Take note, madami din yung tita and titos na super enjoy. And, from different parts of the world pa! Pang UN levels ang delegation.

After the queue, they lead you into this room na may mga pa-film viewing churna churna bells. Then, ang paepek ng mga lola mo, biglang shosho-as ang screenabels and charaaaan! The giant door! Medyo nadisappoint lang ako kasi they ask from the crowd whoever’s celebrating their birthday para sila yung magoopen ng door. Magtataas sana ako ng kamay kaso baka hanapan ako ng birth certificate or proof of purchase, so give ko na saknila yun. Sayang, nagpula pa naman ako.

These were the actual set, props and costumes na ginamit nila sa movie. Haaaay ang sarap maging bata ulet!

The studio was divided into different sections. After this first section, super naenjoy namin yung green screen section where you ride the broomstick and and umacting acting lang! Hahaha! Kebs na sa mga taong nanonood sayo, basta importante performance level!

Honestly, getting a copy of the video was a bit pricey (£25 each! Kaloka!) but since we had a great time, pikit mata nalang namin binili kasi sayang naman ang winning performance if we just let it go. With the amount you paid naman, you get an option if you want it in dvd or usb and since mas may potential na magmukang souvenir item si usb, siya nalang kinuha namen.

Nest section: Train Station! Plus the famous Platform 3/4!
